Generac battery heater pad helps maintain optimum battery temperature & automatically starts when temperatures fall below an acceptable level. This battery heater pad rests under the generator battery (battery heater pad not necessary for use with agm-style batteries). for use with air cooled standby generators manufactured 2008 or later. The Generac heater pad turns on at 40 Degree & turns off at 55 Degree. If replacing old cold weather kit components, remove the old component before installing the new.
